This week sees the start of an exciting chapter for Airedale Junior Academy, as we become of the latest academies to join local Trust, Castleford Academy Trust.
Established in 2013, Castleford Academy Trust already comprises of two secondary academies: Castleford Academy and Crofton Academy; and three primary academies: Castleford Park Junior Academy, Glasshoughton Infant Academy and Three Lane Ends Academy. Airedale Infant Academy, Airedale Junior Academy, Oyster Park Primary Academy and Airedale Academy are also joining Trust.
This marks the start of an exciting period of development for our academy as we become part of an ambitious and successful Trust which is committed to working with its staff, governors, pupils and their families to provide the best outcomes for children within the community.
The growth of the Trust will enable more pupils across the area to benefit from shared expertise, resources and increased educational opportunities which will strengthen and improve educational standards helping pupils to both thrive and achieve highly.
